Signs will be posted across our campus reminding everyone that social distancing is expected, consistent hygienic practices are required and outlining traffic patterns for student drop offs. We have the ability and the space to provide safe, on-campus instruction and activities and need the support and cooperation of all staff, parents and students to successfully adjust how we start each day, monitor student and staff health during the day and gather for activities or meetings during and after school. We have been attending Zoom meetings, teleconferences and discussions over the past few months and have taken guidelines and recommendations into consideration. David also serves in the parish music ministry as the organist for the 7:00 Mass on Sundays. Anthony’s – a vibrant active parish where all are genuinely welcomed. He worked as a special education administrator for fifteen years in Massachusetts before moving to Hawaii. David has worked extensively with teachers to determine effective learning approaches and interventions to address a diverse range of learners. Initially trained and credentialed as a School Psychologist, David has over 30 years experience in education, with the majority of that time spent in administration and leadership positions. He is blessed to have grown up in a family with strong faith, and the richness of both Portuguese and Irish heritage. He additionally holds a Master of Education and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He is a proud member of the 1989 centennial graduating class of the Catholic University of America, in Washington, DC. John’s Preparatory School, run by the Xavierian Brothers, in Danvers, Massachusetts. Originally from Massachusetts, David immensely benefited from a Catholic high school experience, attending St. you are comfortable there.David Kenney is the Head of School. you think of it as a place where you are safe. by the end of 5th grade(if that is what grade you are in when you come to the school), you love school. 6th grade was a blast!!! we play games and have fun everyday!!! -we learn spanish in 6th-8th grade and it is really fun. our school is perfect.the only way it could improve is if they had more students (there are currently 140 students in the elementary and middle school and 30 in the preschool). it is small so you think of everyone even the teachers, preschoolers, and pastors as really really really close friends. we have the least strict (but organized) teachers on the planet. There are many teachers who would go the extra mile to assist the students and I appreciate their help, however, it is important that the teachers don't strain themselves. Despite the over-tasking of the teachers I find the school satisfactory. Teachers who teach multiple classes may be discouraged to thoroughly teach each subject and may become too preoccupied preparing for their other classes. Regardless on whether or not the school is public or private, schools shouldn't demand so much of their teachers. Having school staff members (administration, faculty members and teachers) upholding multiple responsibilities is to much to ask for. Due to the ratio of teachers to the amount of available subjects there is an overabundance of teachers who teach multiple classes. On top of having the responsibilities of an administrator the replacement would also have to formulate class plans. Apparently the new replacement for the religion class is an administration member I'm of the opinion that having an administration member teaching a class would be to strenuous. I have just learned that there will be a replacement teacher for Saint Anthony's English classes and their religion classes.
